The 2009 championship will receive a £50,000 scholarship prize towards a drive in the FIA Formula Two Championship. The top three finishers will all receive an F2 test
Equal opportunity for all drivers with cars prepared by the same team
20 races at seven great circuits
More track mileage than comparable championships, comprising of:
- Three hour pre-season test at FPA’s test track – Bedford Autodrome
- Up to two hours testing on each race weekend
- Two x 20 minute qualifying sessions at each race weekend
- Two or three races each weekend
Race in front of the huge crowds at A1GP
Data analysis of every session with data engineers on hand to help interpret the graphs
Data comparison with the fastest driver of the session to help all drivers improve their on-track performance and ensure equality of equipment
Help with preparing and presenting sponsorship proposals including access to FPA graphic designers to prepare sponsor liveried presentations
Training seminars to optimise drivers’ performance and ensure they progress quickly, comprising of:
- Chassis Technology and aerodynamics
- Car set-up appreciation
- Data analysis and application
- Driving technique with a leading driver coach
- Ongoing driving technique training with FPA driver coaches available at every session throughout the season
- Media skills, interview technique and personal presentation
- Driver fitness and a physical training regime
- Sponsorship acquisition and retention
