Formula Palmer Audi 2008 DVD

The 2008 Henderson Formula Palmer Audi Championship was arguably the most competitive season in its eleven-year history, with seven winners through the season and a three-way championship battle going into the final round.

Jason Moore eventually emerged from Silverstone as champion, but he was under intense pressure through much of the season from Tom Bradshaw and Jolyon Palmer. Moore was mighty from the beginning, winning three of the opening five races, but Bradshaw came back strongly in the middle of the season. Palmer kept himself in contention throughout with a series of mature and consistent drives, including eleven podiums and one victory.

The title fight epitomised the intense rivalry and fierce competition of a stand-out 2008 season, and affirmed FPA’s position as the ultimate in affordable and competitive racing for talented young drivers.

The 2008 Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy boasted one of its strongest ever driver line-ups, and with the FPA Shootout at Snetterton also deciding the final contender for the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award, enthralling racing was assured.

Naill Quinn produced a superb performance to emerge victorious from a host of FPA regulars including Tom Bradshaw and Jolyon Palmer, whilst Aaron Steele returned to FPA to take the Shootout, and with it the award that helped the careers of David Coulthard and Jenson Button.

Tom Bradshaw, runner-up in the main FPA Championship, finished second to Quinn despite securing four podiums and three wins from six races. Jolyon Palmer’s consistency saw him finish third, with three podiums.

Jack Clarke, Matt Hamilton and Aaron Steele all competed at the front of the field and recorded podium finishes, as the competition affirmed FPA’s status as the premier training ground for emerging young talent.
